"While you wait for the others" es una canción del grupo alternativo e independiente Grizzly Bear, incluída en el disco Veckatimest. No me van a creer esto, pero los descubrí gracias al soundtrack de una de las películas Twilight, :/. Pero quienes se hayan atrevido a escuchar los soundtracks saben que a diferencia de las películas, los recopilados están muy buenos, incluyendo bandas como Death cab for cutie, The black ghosts, Muse y hasta Tom Yorke.

Esta canción también cuenta con la participación en el área vocal de Michale Mc Donald, miembro de los Doobie Brothers.

"King of pain" es un tema original de The Police, lanzado en 1983 en el disco Synchronicity.

Alanis, en el MTV Unppluged de 1999 (uno de los mejores conciertos acústicos de el canal), versionó la canción en acústico, produciendo como resultado uno de los temas más agradables bonitos, con el toque propio de Morissette. Si se animan, los invito a que también escuchen la canción original.

Miércoles - 80s

Hace mucho tiempo escuché (descrubrí) esta canción en la radio. Me gustó mucho, sobre todo por el coro. Tiene algo de melancolía y profundidad, pero con la tonada de aquellos tiempos alegres como eran los ochenta, por lo menos en cuanto a música se refiere. Yo admiro a Elton John, este tema tal vez no sea uno de los más populares de su repertorio como Sacrtifice, Candle in the Wind y 50 primeros lugares más, pero la estética y dinámica del video son geniales. 

"I'm still standing" del álbum Too low for zero, es como un himno de superpoder, que te da energía y fuerza. Tal vez es una reafirmación del propio Elton.

El video dirigido por Russell Mulcahy y grabado en Cannes y Nice.

Me gustaría ver un día de estos a un grupo de baile como éste en la playa, soñar no cuesta.

Aquí la camaradería no queda desapercibida entre estos muchachos. Contagian felicidad y diversión. Ringo en bicicleta estática y con su característica sonrisa. Tal vez tenga que ver la letra de la canción "i feel fine" con el hecho de que pedalear genera buena energía y se siente bien

Del disco Abbey Road y escrita por George Harrison, "Something".

El video originario de 1969, a mi parecer es una belleza. La canción no necesita explicación. Sólo escúchala y siéntela.
